One department to start with
Qatar's Ministry of Public Health hosts a Pharmacy & Drug Control department and an associated e-services system. That department is the right first contact for whether a compound is registered and what an import would require. Customs sits with the General Authority of Customs.
Questions to put to the authority
- Is the compound registered with the Ministry of Public Health?
- Is prior approval required to import a non-registered compound for laboratory research, and who can apply?
- How should a laboratory-reagent parcel be declared, and what documents travel with it?
