Privacy

What we collect

• Messages you send us through the contact or corrections form: your name, email address, optional organisation and page link, and your message. We use these only to reply and to correct the site. They are stored in the site’s database and deleted when no longer needed, normally within 24 months.
• Spam protection: we store a one-way hash of your IP address with each submission and a short-lived counter to limit repeated submissions. The hash cannot be reversed into your IP address.
• Your comparison basket is stored in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us, except as supplier names in the comparison page address when you open it.

Analytics and cookies

The atlas sets no tracking cookies of its own. If the site operator enables analytics, only a privacy-conscious, cookieless service is used. Links to partner sites may carry referral parameters, listed on the Disclosures page. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
