Editorial policy
Standards for sourcing, evidence labels, health content, review intervals and independence from our commercial partner.
What we publish
Educational guides, supplier documentation profiles, research-product profiles, a compound library and country hubs for the six GCC states. We do not publish medical advice, dosing or administration information, protocols, or claims that any research product treats, prevents or improves any condition. Research-use-only products are not for human or veterinary use.
Sourcing
- Supplier facts: the supplier’s own pages, quoted and dated.
- Regulation: official authority websites only. We name authorities and link them; we do not state that a product is legal or illegal anywhere.
- Science: peer-reviewed papers, official guidance and chemical databases, cited with titles and links that we open and check.
Evidence labels
Every reference is labelled by type: Cell / in vitro (experiments on cells or molecules), Animal study, Human study, Review (a synthesis of other studies), Official / regulatory, Chemical database, Analytical method, Supplier document and General reference. Library entries also list which kinds of evidence exist for each compound, and their known limitations.
Review intervals
Records show a “last verified” or “last reviewed” date. Records older than 90 days are flagged as due for re-check, both publicly and on the editors’ dashboard. Price observations expire after 30 days.
Authorship
Articles are written by the editorial team. We name an individual reviewer only when a real, qualified person has reviewed the piece. We do not invent author profiles or credentials.
Independence from our commercial partner
Our partner can pay for clearly labelled visibility. It cannot buy scores, conclusions, placement within the neutral directory, or the removal or softening of unfavourable facts, and it does not see articles before publication. Facts about the partner go through the same sourcing as facts about anyone else.
Use of software tools
We use software to capture pages and check quotations against them. Every published sentence is the editors’ responsibility. We do not publish machine translations as reviewed translations. Arabic editions are published only after review by a fluent human editor.
